Angola is the third-largest producer of diamonds in Africa and has still only explored 40% of the diamond-rich territory within the country.

About this opportunity:

On offer: JV Partnership offering 51% in an operational diamond mine in the heart of the diamond belt.

* Commodity: Diamonds Vs1, Vvs1 ,Vv2
* Operational mining of the alluvial deposits only at present
* Full mining operation with a wash plant for alluvial operations.
* Includes the excavator and frontend loader, jigging plant, etc.
* All mines in Angola have an 8% shareholding with the government. The government in return supplies the security on-site and for processing facilities.

Presently they are mining the surface alluvial at approx. 7000 Carats /mth. Resources include 73 Kimberlites which were identified during drilling. The main resources are underground and will be mined in the second phase of the project.

Presently, the Governments regulation is that 80% of the diamonds can be sold internationally and 20% needs to be sold locally to Government, jewelers, or purchased by the owner in Angola and can then be exported.
